Coastal Bloom
I painted this scene to capture the breathtaking light washing over the Pacific coastline. I was completely drawn to the way the ice plant flowers covered the cliffside, each blossom catching the sun and almost glowing with a quiet energy. I wanted to hold onto that feeling of expansive peace, where the vibrant foreground meets the shimmering ocean and the distant horizon. The soft, warm hues of the petals against the deep blue sea felt like a perfect memory of a radiant afternoon.
