I painted this street scene because I was truly drawn to the way the early morning light danced on the wet asphalt, creating those incredible, shimmering reflections. I wanted to capture that quiet moment in the city, where the golden glow on the historic "Organic" building contrasted so beautifully with the deep, cool shadows cast by the large tree in the foreground. It felt like a fleeting memory of a specific walk, a moment of peaceful observation before the day truly took hold.
