Path To The Open Bay
I painted this piece after a walk along a beautiful coastal trail, drawn in by the way the sandy path carved its way through the dense, sun-drenched scrubland. I wanted to capture that feeling of discovery, of the anticipation building as the path opens up to reveal the expansive bay and distant hills. It was a perfect day, with the clear blue sky overhead and the promise of the ocean air just ahead.
