Puppy's First Run
I painted this little chocolate lab puppy as it bounded through a vibrant green field, full of youthful energy. I wanted to capture that moment of pure, unadulterated joy and curiosity in its eyes, as if it's just discovered the whole world. The way its ears are slightly back and its paw is lifted, I felt drawn to convey that playful movement and the soft texture of its coat against the bright, fresh grass. It reminds me of the simple happiness of a warm spring day and the boundless spirit of a new companion.
