San Francisco Haze
I was drawn to this particular view of the San Francisco Bay, with Alcatraz island prominent in the middle ground and the city skyline softened by the distance. I wanted to capture the cool, muted light of a cloudy day, where the blues and grays of the water and sky seemed to melt into each other. The rugged foreground with its sparse vegetation offered a grounding contrast to the ethereal quality of the distant city, creating a sense of quiet observation.
